Architectural lighting firm wanted to push the envelope.

Specialty Lighting was introducing a new line of architectural lighting called GRAFFITI. So naturally it begged the question of whether to use actual graffiti art in the marketing materials.

On a scale of a more conservative use to a more aggressive use of graffiti, the client wanted it very aggressive. This created a bit of a challenge when combining that art with highly styled photographic interior photography and product photography. Like trying to marry a busy granite countertop with elegant cabinetry in a contemporary kitchen, we tried to blend the graffiti and photography together by color.

A bit like a flavorful tie paired with a conservative man’s business suit.
