Identity and packaging assignments that started a well known hair and beauty name.

Back in the late 1980’s Mario Tricoci was a flamboyant hair stylist that had big dreams.

The first task was to develop an identity that would work on hair care product packaging, store signage and traditional marketing materials.

His name was the solution. It was unique enough and also memorable. But it need to be transformed into a mark that would fit well on tall bottles.

After many rounds of development, the final identity was moved into packaging. Since most other hair care packaging at the time were busy and very colorful, the solution of a very clean, elegant look made Mario Tricoci’s products look different and more sophisticated. Since the 1980’s Mario Tricoci has grown into a small midwest empire with a brand that says “a cut above.”
