Housewares packaging that needed to fit the brand model.

Known primarily for high end sewing machines and sergers, Bernina needed packaging for a new line of high end irons.

Whenever a company pushes their product line into unfamiliar territory, careful attention needs to be placed on the look and the marketing. Bernina was counting on their name recognition and solid reputation in the sewing world for sales of thier new line of irons for home use.

Our job was to make sure the look of the new iron packaging matched that high end reputation.

Photography was everything for this product packaging. A fairly clever use of glass block was used on set. The glass block encircled the iron, combined with various lights at floor level to create the multiple rays of light that appear on the packaging. Also careful attention was paid to how the packages fit side by side on a shelf to help create a seamless shelf presence.
