A graphic twist to a trade show brochure
The Association of Rotational Molders needed literature for “Rotoplas”, a trade show in the Chicagoland area.
We thought it might be interesting to show an abstract graphic of rotational molding.
“Rotational Molding” involves a heated hollow mold which is filled with a charge or shot weight of material. It is then slowly rotated (usually around two perpendicular axes) causing the softened material to disperse and stick to the walls of the mold. In the above graphic, the yellow dotted half moon shape represents the shot weight of material that gradually thins and sticks to the inner walls of the rotating ball (mold).
